This will be the most extensively health tested Sloughi pairing in the US to date. While neither parent is proven in sports, their individual drives show promise for some possible sports prospect offspring. We also expect show prospect offspring.
Bahja and Barq share no recent ancestors and complement each other extremely well. This is an important litter for diversity in the US and will be the first litter for both of them. As such, while we welcome all interested families, we are especially looking for homes willing to keep their Sloughi intact if he or she turns out to be a possible breeding candidate.

Bahja was the pick puppy from our B litter. Her mother is a Moroccan import with unique lineage unrelated to other imports in the West. Her father is 50% Moroccan, 25% Tunisian, 25% European.
Bahja has high food motivation and decent biddability for a Sloughi. She can have a bit of a hard head when she really wants something but is extremely focused when training. She can be quite serious when working but has her moments of silly every single day. When she is bored she can be quite the troublemaker so keeping her busy is a must. Luckily that is easy to do since she is a social butterfly who loves to meet new people and enjoys adventures in new places.
